FAWLTY TOWERS MEETS NOISES OFF IN NEW HIT COMEDY
Winner of Best New Comedy at London’s Olivier Awards and winner for the Best Set at the 2017 Tony Awards, The Play That Goes Wrong is currently playing to packed houses in the West End and Broadway, has just recently completed it’s Australian tour and will soon be heading across the ditch to cause mayhem in New Zealand from September.
The play introduces ‘The Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society’ who are attempting to put on a 1920s murder mystery, but as the title suggests, everything that can go wrong…does, as the accident-prone thespians battle on against all the odds to get to their final curtain call. The Play That Goes Wrong is a highly physical comedy packed with finely-tuned farce and slapstick delivered with split-second timing and ambitious daring.
Starring a bunch of ‘would be’ thespians, The Play That Goes Wrong is guaranteed to leave you aching with laughter!
